The Clouds Have Cleared And Monday Concerts In The Park Return
Is it more fun to pack a picnic for the outdoor concert series or more of a treat to visit food trucks and have someone else do the prep?
MAMARONECK, NY — After severe weather dampened the return of Monday evening Concerts in Memorial Park, the skies are once again smiling on live music in the perfect venue.
The free concerts from the Mamaroneck Recreation Department are a go for July 19, and if the rain clouds stay away, your Monday evening plans for the rest of the summer are already set. The series kicks with high energy dance music from FDR Drive Band.
On July 26, Twist of Fate will take the stage with an eclectic mix of R&B, country, rap and reggae. Audiences will be treated to the hometown favorite band, The Bookends, playing hits from the sixties, seventies and eighties on August 2.

A special mystery guest will perform on August 9, to make up for the canceled July 12 show.
All of the shows start at 7:00 p.m.

Although the concert series makes a perfect date night, the shows are very much intended as family-friendly events. The playground will be open late for the kids. Bring your own picnic blanket or chair.
Free parking will be available in Commuter Lot #1 on Myrtle Street. Picnic baskets are welcome, but the Harbour Fish & Co Food truck makes for an enticing alternative.
