Deadline Approaching for Mamaroneck Village Taxes

The second half of Village of Mamaroneck taxes are due by the end of December.

According to village officials, taxes can be paid in person at the village hall, 123 Mamaroneck Ave. by 12:30 p.m. December 31. If mailed, payment must have a U.S. Post Office postmark by December 31, 2013.

Taxes can also be paid online via the village website by 11:59 p.m. December 31, 2013. There is a convenience fee when using a credit card of up to 2.95 percent with a minimum charge of $1.00. The convenience fee when using an electronic check is 95 cents.

Any payment made after the deadlines will be assessed a 5 percent late penalty.

Village offices will be closing at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 24 and will reopen Thursday, December 26. The office will also be closing at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 31 and will reopen Thursday, January 2.
