Decisive Victory for Endorsed Democrats in Mamaroneck Trustee Primary
The three Democrats will face three Republican candidates in November for three available seats on the Board of Trustees.

The final unofficial vote tally for Tuesday night’s Democratic primary in Mamaroneck for trustee was considerably more decisive than earlier reports.
Party-endorsed candidates Ilissa Miller, Leon Potok and Dave Finch handily dispatched the fourth candidate, Andres Bermudez-Hallstrom, by better than a two-to-one margin in each case.
According to the Westchester County Board of Elections, Bermudez-Hallstrom unofficially ended up with 220 total votes, while Miller had 607, Finch (572) and Potok (542). Miller, Potok and Bermudez-Hallstrom were incumbents while Finch was a newcomer.

Bermudez-Hallstrom fell out of favor with party officials by leveling accusations at fellow trustees, including reportedly questioning whether Potok had been a paid political consultant which would have been a conflict of interest, Bermudez-Hallstrom claimed. The Mamaroneck Review debunked the charge by discovering there may have been a clerical filing error.
The three Democrats will face Republican candidates Michael Ianniello, Maggie-Leigh O’Neill and Stephanie Lividini for three spots.

“Thank you all for your support!” the endorsed candidates wrote on the party’s Facebook page Wednesday morning. “Now it’s on to the general election, where your help and contributions will be even more important to keep Mamaroneck Democrats leading the way.”
