Spring Crafts Show at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown Draws Big Crowd

The weather could not have been more perfect for the annual craft fair.

With only a few wispy clouds dotting the crystal blue sky and the sun shining brightly on the Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, people came out in droves to attend the 29th Annual Spring Crafts show on the grounds of the 1838 Gothic Revival home whose stately spires and dramatic triangular, gothic windows lend it a patrician air.

Visitors can browse offerings from 275 artists including clothing, jewelry, blown glass and many other items. Food offerings include "gourmet road food" from the Bistro Box, where the line was long this morning; Udder Ideas Fudge; the Original Kettle Corn; Dutch Desserts, among others.
