3rd Annual Stephen Spina Softball Classic

The third annual Stephen Spina Softball Classic will be held July 16 and 17 at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Monies raised from the event will go towards the Stephen Spina Memorial Fund, which will go toward a reward to find Stephen's killer.

On Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m., there will be live entertainment at the pavilion. At 11 a.m. Funky Blue Project will entertain audiences with funk, blues, rock and a whole lot of rollin'. At 12:30 p.m. 13th Flaw will perform a unique and diverse set of rock cover songs. At 2 p.m. DJ Swayde Puma will be playing the latest and greatest in hip hop, freestyle and classics.

Students from Finger Lake Massage School, Mt. Kisco campus, will be onsite Saturday to provide complimentary massages to participants and spectators from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. T-shirts and other items will be available for purchase during the event.

The Stephen Spina Memorial Fund was established in memory of Stephen Spina, the Larchmont Postal Worker who was found murdered in his Richbell Road apartment on September 17, 2007. To date, his murder remains unsolved.
