9/10 "Remember A Life; Save A Life" Blood Drive

The Annual Fall Blood Drive, sponsored by the Larchmont Fire Department and Sound Shore Medical Center, will be held as a special tribute to those who lost their lives ten years ago during the attack on the World Trade Center and to their survivors.  Larchmont businesses are stepping up to the plate with offers of gifter certificates as free raffle prizes for those who donate.  Red Mango will be making and serving free smoothies to those who donate. If your organization would like to contribute (we're looking for a DJ or live music andf more raffle prizes), please contact the blood drive organizer, Volunteer Firefighter Rob Seitz, 914-393-6144.

MOST IMPORTANT: The Sound Shore Region needs your blood. Anyone ages 16 to 76 (with doctor's permission for the youngest and oldes) may qualify to donate a pint of blood.  Also, blood donations can be made every 60-days.
