Community Bikram Yoga Class

Come be part of something good for you and good for the community - experience the hottest Bikram Yoga class in Westchester!

On Sunday, November 20, at 2:00PM, the Bikram Yoga Larchmont Studio located on 2444 Boston Post Road will be hosting a Community Yoga class benefiting Food Bank for Westchester. The mission of the Food Bank for Westchester is to lead, engage and educate Westchester County in creating a hunger-free environment. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here is a great opportunity for all of us to both give and receive Thanks.

For a suggested CASH donation of $10, we invite you to support this worthy cause and participate in an invigorating 90 minute Bikram Yoga class that will transform you - mind and body. If you are already a BYL member on a Class Card or Unlimited Plan, please note that this is a separate class and not tied to your current membership.

Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a heated room. The series,designed by Bikram Choudhury, uses heat to warm the body, making it more pliable and relaxed. This provides for deeper stretching and release of neuromuscular tensions in the body and detoxification of all body systems. This 90 minute yoga sequence will systematically work all the muscles, ligaments and tendons in the order in which they should be stretched as well as stimulate the organs, glands, and nerves, moving fresh, oxygenated blood to 100 percent of your body, restoring the body back to a healthy working order.
