Author David Kirkpatrick to Discuss "The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company That Is Connecting the World" on Feb 27
On Sunday, February 27, at 4 pm, at the Larchmont Village Center behind the Library, veteran technology reporter David Kirkpatrick will read from and discuss his acclaimed book, The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company That is Connecting the World. A tale of both the faces behind the business and the far-reaching effect Facebook has on the lives of 500 million people around the globe, the book has been translated into well over a dozen languages and was just released in paperback. Described by The New York Times Book Review as “a fascinating history, and a thoughtful analysis of the Web site's impact,” it is the only book with which founder Mark Zuckerberg fully cooperated. David honed his considerable journalistic skills at Fortune magazine, where he was the senior technology reporter for many years.
