"St. Augustine's will hold their 9th Annual Walk for Habitat. Join us on a fun-filled walk while helping to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Westchester. Habitat for Humanity of Westchester continues to build basic, solid homes for families and to help seniors and veterans fix up their homes through their Brush for Kindness program. Help raise money so that this great work can continue. The walk will be less than 2 miles so the whole family can join - young, old and everyone in between. Start raising pledges. Let people know what Habitat has been doing and ask them to pledge some money for your walk. Go to friends, neighbors, relatives. Start raising those pledges and join us on Sunday, November 7th at 1:00 pm for the Walk. Refreshments will be served after the Walk. If you can't make it, contributions can be made to Habitat for Humanity and sent to St. Augustine's at 18 Cherry Avenue, Larchmont. To volunteer, call Anne Avenius at 914-527-6762."
