Larchmont Restaurant Week Debuts

Larchmont's restaurants are offering prix-fixe lunches and dinners plus other incentives to woo customers in a new program, "Restaurant Week: A Taste of Larchmont," planned as an annual event by the Village of Larchmont Chamber of Commerce.

Larchmont's first annual Restaurant Week launched on Sunday, May 15 with special incentives for diners such as prix-fixe meals and discounts on alcohol beverages. 

Here is a look  at some of the deals to be had. Not all offers are available on all days (Saturday deals are especially limited) and prix-fixe costs do not include tax or tip. The area code 914 applies for all phone numbers.

Anna Maria's. 833-0555. Will offer a $12.95 two-course lunch that can be accompanied by a glass of red or white wine for $5 and a three-course dinner for $29.95 that can be paired with a bottle of wine at a 15% discount. Not available on Monday or at dinner on Friday or Saturday.

Augie’s. 834-3800. Has no special plans for Restaurant Week but serves a four-course, prix-fixe dinner for two at $34.95 on Mondays throughout the year and a $22.95 meatball-and-sausage meal for two with salad on Sundays. 

Auray Gourmet. 833-2274. Will serve a soup-and-salad combination from noon to 2 p.m. for $8.50.

Bellizzi. 833-5800. Has several offers including $2 off for a kid’s meal and a $9.95 three-course prix-fixe meal served from noon to 5 p.m. that includes salad, pasta and dessert. Available Monday through Thursday.

Chat 19. 833-8871. Plans to offer a three-course lunch for $17 and a three-course dinner for $27 (not available on Saturday).

Espana Wine & Tapis Bar. 833-1331. A three-course, prix-fixe meal at $20.11 will be available on Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m. The choices for the main course are grilled chicken breast, seared salmon fillet, saffron and seafood risotto, fish of the day and grilled hanger steak.

Globe.  833-8600. Will serve its regular menu.

Hunan Larchmont.  833-0400. Will serve soup, an appetizer, a main course and ice cream for dessert at a prix-fixe cost of $20.95. Also expect a special deal on a glass of wine (maybe complimentary).

Lusardi's 834-5555. Will offer a three-course, prix-fixe lunch for $24.50 and a three-course dinner for $29.95. Main courses include crispy chicken breast, veal, skirt steak and Mediterranean seabass with capers. Coffee, expresso or cappuccino is included.

Palmer's Crossing. 833-3505. Will serve a three-course, prix-fixe dinner at $27 on Sunday through Thursday consisting of soup or salad, an entree and a dessert.

Pascal’s. 834-6688. Will offer a three-course meal for $28 that includes a starter, a main course and a profiterole dessert.

Plates. 834-1244. Will serve a two-course lunch for $15 and a two-course dinner priced at $30 up to 7 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday and to 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The two items can be selected from a choice of appetizers, entrees and desserts on the prix-fixe menu.  

Sherwood’s. 833-3317. Plans to offer a combination of eight wings, a rack of ribs and a Toll House cookie dessert for $25.

Tequila Sunrise 834-6378. Will offer a three-course, prix-fixe meal at $20.11 and half-off on beer, sangria or house margaritas during happy hour (5 to 7 p.m.). Main courses include chimichangas, enchiladas, tacos, fafitas, an oversized burrito or a combination burrito, enchilada and taco. apply on Satu (shredded beef or chicken). All offers do not apply on Saturday.

Turquoise. 834-9888. Prix-fixed meals are planned but their cost had not been set when this story was posted.

Vintage 1891. 834-9463. Will have special offers for wines including white (Gruner Veltliner, Weiss Bergunder and Chateau Laulerie sauvignon blanc) and red (Kistler chardonnay, Flowers pinot noir,Dashe zinfandel and World’s End cabernet).

Watercolor Cafe. 834-2213. Will serve a three-course lunch at $14.95 and a three-course dinner at $24.95. Not available on Thursday. In addition, it will sell a $250 dining gift certificate at a 15% discount and enter customers dining during Restaurant Week in a raffle for a New Year’s Eve freebie.
