Distinguished Leader to Address At Home on the Sound

 Loren Finnell, a social entrepreneur with 40 years experience in working with nonprofits, will revisit the events that shaped his international career on Wednesday, July 25. The presentations is open to the public at no charge.

Dr. Finnell, a Larchmont resident whose career began with the Peace Corps in Ecuador, founded The Resource Foundation in 1987 to help leverage the resources of donors and the experiences of NGO’s to improve living standards in Latin America and the Caribbean. Dr. Finnell had two tenures with International Voluntary Services in Washington and Laos and was project director for the International Development Corporation in Columbia and Ecuador.  His memoir, Still A Country Boy After Embracing the World, will be published in December.  

 The lecture is at Sts. John & Paul Church’s rectory meeting room. (Lower parking lot.) Refreshments 3:30 pm, program at 4:00.
