Zion Memorial Chapel, Westchester Country’s ONLY, all-Jewish, free standing and independent funeral home, is celebrating its 30th year.  Opened in 1996 under the advice and direction of Rabbi Steven Ziskind, a mentor and friend of Vincent Graziano, Zion was predicated on the belief that the Jewish community deserved better and more options when it came to burying their loved ones. <p>The Friends of the Larchmont Library sponsor a free screening and discussion of the Emmy-award winning documentary, <strong>Out in the Silence: Love, Hate, and a Quest for Change in Small-Town America</strong>, a piercing look at the destructive effects of homophobia on young people. Co-directors Dean Hamer and Joe Wilson document the bullying of a 16-year-old athlete living in western Pennsylvania after he announces he is gay. The directors will be on-hand to discuss the film.</p>
