Two Friends and Their Art

The Larchmont Public Library presents “Two Friends and Their Art”, a shared exhibit featuring the paintings of Norma Perciasepe and Eligia Dundee. in the Library’s Oresman Gallery from October 1, through October 31, 2011. The exhibit is free and open to everyone during normal library hours. There will be an artist’s reception celebrating Norma Perciasepe and Eligia Dundee on Saturday, October 15, from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. The reception is also free and everyone is welcome.

 Ms. Perciacepe and Ms. Dundee met each other twelve years ago through their shared interested in artistic pursuits. Both are members of the Larchmont and Mamaroneck Senior’s Center where both have studied under noted artist, Patricia Nina Sutherland.  

 The two friends have spent countless hours together painting and deepening their friendship. Painting primarily in acrylics and in pastels, the subject matter for their art ranges from scenes of nature to still life.
