MAMARONECK, NY — Getting to know more about the trees in your neck of the woods is guaranteed to increase appreciation for our shade-giving, leafy friends — the perfect chance to meet the trees in your neighborhood is coming up.

As part of this year's Fall Tree Walk, Sheldrake Environmental Center Education Director Jocelyn Kleinman will lead participants as they "spend time outdoors and enjoy the life-giving benefits of trees while learning about our local urban forest." You will be able to explore different tree species and learn some fun facts and tips about caring for trees.

The Village of Mamaroneck Tree Committee fall tree walk will take place on Sunday, October 30, at 1 p.m.
