Find a New Job with Help from Mamaroneck's Center for Continuing Education

The Center for Continuing Education in Mamaroneck will offer a “Job Search Boot Camp for Millennials” Jan. 8 and 15th, the center announced.
The fast-paced, two-day workshop is designed to help college students and recent grads “package and promote themselves for the work world.”
The class will be held on the next two Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. The focus will be on helping young adults connect their interests and skills with specific careers.

Resume development and networking also will be covered, according to organizers.
Additionally, the center also is offering a course for mid-career professionals called “Reboot Your Career.” This course, which will be held on Jan. 30, is designed for people trying to reposition themselves.

Both classes will be taught by Allison Cheston, a seasoned career advisor, who has helped both young adults and mid-career executives launch or re-imagine their careers.
