Former Lost Boy and Actor Ger Duany to Attend Special Screening of "The Good Lie" at St. John's Church Larchmont

The Community is Invited to this Special Reception and Screening on May 1

St. John¹s Church in Larchmont will be hosting a very special screening of “The Good Lie” starring Reese Witherspoon and Ger Duany on Friday, May 1st. “The Good Lie” tells the heart-wrenching and uplifting story of four young Sudanese refugees and their experience relocating in America.

Ger Duany, actor, model, former lost boy and current UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will attend the wine and light hors d’oeuvres reception preceding the screening, at 6:30 pm. He will say a few words and be available for photographs and to meet people. The screening will directly follow the reception, at 7:30 pm.

Admission to this exciting event is free to the public; donations will be accepted to benefit nonprofit organization Sudan Sunrise‘s Manute Bol School in southern Sudan. Location of event: Parish Hall at St. John’s Church, 4 Fountain Square, Larchmont, NY.
