MAMARONECK, NY — This holiday, shoppers won't find inflated prices at the parking meters in the Village of Mamaroneck.
The 2-hour parking meters will be bagged, starting on Wednesday. Just in time for Black Friday shopping.
The free 2-hour parking will run from November 23 to December 27. The hope is that giving the parking meters a rest will encourage shoppers to support local businesses in downtown Mamaroneck.

The 2-hour parking pay meters will be bagged on Mamaroneck Avenue. The multi-space machines in parking lots will be suspended.
The 2-hour limit remains in effect. The parking amnesty does not apply to long-term parking meters around the Mamaroneck train station.
