There is still one offer for the theater on the table.

LARCHMONT, NY — A recent $15,000 pledge has increased the amount of money raised by the Committee to Save Larchmont Playhouse group to $600,000.

The organization announced the donation on its Facebook page.

According to the FAQ at the group’s website, there is one remaining offer for the building of $1.2 million and the lease for the current operator—Bowtie—expires in September, at which time the theater will go dark.

Besides buying the building, organizers said they would like to renovate the theater, adding a small cafe.

They also want to create a flexible-use theater which could be used for special events or parties.
