Harbor Island Park Beach To Be Open Year-Round

MAMARONECK, NY — By next month, Harbor Island Park’s shoreline should be open year-round. The Mamaroneck village board is hoping to implement a new policy that will make the 700-foot beach open to the public from dawn to dusk 365 days a year.

The water, however, will remain off limits for swimming from September through May because there will be no lifeguards on duty, the Journal News said.
