Joan Rivers' Family Settles with Clinic That Caused Her Death
Rivers was a Westchester native, growing up in Larchmont.
The family of Joan Rivers has settled a malpractice suit filed against the medical clinic blamed for her death.
BBC News said the Yorkville Endoscopy center had done unauthorized procedures, according to the family.
Rivers, a Larchmont native, died in 2014 at the age 81.

Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, said in a statement that the settlement puts the legal aspects of her mother’s death behind her, cnn.com reported.
