No, it won’t be in the 60s like it was on Christmas Day but the entire Hudson Valley will see temps in the 40s during the day today and Friday, and the lows will only drop into the 30s. Today and Friday will feature plenty of sunshine during the day and at night it will be partly cloudy, with no chance of precipitation.

Over the weekend it will get colder, and colder yet at the beginning of the week.
Say goodbye to fall weather!
“December is going down in the record books… as the hottest December on record in the Hudson Valley… there are no two ways about it,” says Bill Potter from Hudson Valley Weather. “But to us weather statistic nerds, there’s an even more unbelievable statistic. It’s all but certain that Thursday will see above average temperatures. If that happens… it will mark the 1st time in our records, that every day of an entire month was at or above average. In weather… the patterns are generally changeable. But our pattern has been so amazingly consistent over the last 60 days… that we couldn’t get a single day below average in the city of Poughkeepsie. December has been statistically amazing.”
