Larchmont Playhouse Bought By NYC Developer
After renovations, foreign and independent films will be shown at the movie house.

LARCHMONT, NY — The Larchmont Playhouse, which has been vacant since last year, has been purchased and will used to show independent and foreign films. The new owner is Charles Cohen, a New York City developer.
The deal, for which no details were released, closed Friday, Sept. 8, with renovation and redesign of the three-screen theater beginning by early 2018, lohud.com said.
