Lusardi's Owner Voted One of Best Bosses in Westchester
Mario Fava—owner of Larchmont's Lusardi's and Chat 19 restaurants—was voted one of the best bosses in the county by Westchester Magazine.
It's a positive sign when a boss can motivate his employees to stay with him for over two decades in the notoriously high-turnover restaurant industry.

Fava was chosen as one of Westchester Magazine's "Greatest Leaders and Bosses" published last week. According to the article, Lusardi's Manager Tony Cappello has worked for Fava for 22 years and Chat 19 Manager Maurizio Caputi has been an employee for 15 years now.

Fava knows the restaurant business like the back of his hand, having worked in it since he was 14. And, as "a waiter with a suit on," there's nothing he asks his staff to do that he won't do himself.
