Mamaroneck FBLA's First Chapter Meeting
Mamaroneck FBLA has their first meeting welcoming aspiring members and sharing the goals for the club
Mamaroneck FBLA’s first chapter meeting of the 2026-2027 school year was a huge success!
On October 7th, over 100 aspiring members spent their lunch learning about FBLA and the opportunities it offers. President Parker Phillip and Vice President Spencer Baron kicked off the meeting sharing what exactly FBLA is, important dates to note, and how to get involved. They then went on to introduce this year's chapter officer team.
FBLA is a student organization that introduces the business world to high school students. Members get to learn very valuable real world skills such as public speaking, creating a resume, perfecting interviews, and more. The meetings for Mamaroneck High School are held every Wednesday during lunch. Students who attend get to practice these skills in preparation for later competitions.

This year, Mamaroneck FBLA is very excited to get the opportunities to attend multiple events such as the National Fall Leadership Conference taking place in Washington, D.C, the State Leadership Conference taking place at Kalahari Resorts, and the National Convention in Columbus, Ohio. By informing new members about these events now, the chapter hopes to have lots of participants at each of these conferences.
Now, the Mamaroneck chapter is starting to plan for these conferences, as well as the Fall District Meeting. This meeting, led by Mamaroneck’s own Zoey Zaumeyer, consists of all chapters in District 3S. Any new and returning members are invited to attend.
