Mamaroneck Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Wins Big at National Convention
Mamaroneck FBLA runs the MHS school store, hosts local officials and business people, conducts charitable fundraisers and competes at FBLA conventions.

The Mamaroneck High School chapter of FBLA made history at the organization's national conference in Los Angeles last week when, according to a release from Mamaroneck Schools, for only the second time two national officers were elected from the same state.
MHS’s Ken Pomeranz was elected national secretary and Adam Nissinoff national parliamentarian before a crowd of almost 10,000 with millions more watching live on the web. FBLA has a total of more than 250,000 members, according to the release, and each year just four are elected to national office.
Ken Pomeranz campaign slogan was, “Together We Ken." He also designed a logo, delivered a speech to the assembly, and created campaign materials, according to the release.

Adam Nissinoff took a written test to win the parliamentarian position, finishing in just 11 minutes and scoring a 99, which Mamaroneck School District FBLA Advisor Maria Siciliano described in the release as “the highest score ever.”
As part of the six-day trip, students participated in a two-day Institute for Leaders and attended workshops on business topics.
