MAMARONECK, NY — The Mamaroneck High School Girls Tennis placed third in the state, according to a district spokeswoman. The doubles team of Katherine Orgielewicz and Alison Zerbib placed third this past weekend in the state tennis tournament that took place in Latham.
They won the quarterfinals against Half Hallow Hills. The score was 6-2, 6-0.
Orgielewicz and Zerbib advanced to the semifinals, where they were defeated by Fayetteville Manlius-Syracuse in three sets and a close match.
