Mamaroneck High School Students Win Awards at Westchester-Rockland Science Event

The Westchester-Rockland Junior Science and Humanities Symposium was held this past Saturday.

Mamaroneck High School’s Original Science Research (OSR) team students took home several top awards after presenting their work this past Saturday at the Westchester-Rockland Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, the school announced Monday.

Rachel Berman: 1st Place, Behavioral Science and 3rd place overall (Tie)

Emily McCarthy: 1st Place, Medicine and Health (Team project with Yiorgos Argyros of Dobbs Ferry High School)

Bianca Barragan: 2nd Place, Physical Science

Sam Wertheim: 2nd Place, Environmental Science

Natalie Basta and Kara Dougherty: 3rd Place Environmental Science
