Mamaroneck Mayor To Run For County Legislature

MAMARONECK, NY — The mayor of Mamaroneck is planning to run for county legislator in the 7th District. That will pit Norman Rosenblum, 74, against Catherine Parker, D-Rye, the Journal News said.

Rosenblum has served four terms as mayor and ran on the Republican and Conservative lines in 2015.

Parker, a former Rye City Councilwoman, took office as a member of the County Board of Legislators in 2014. The 7th Legislative District includes the Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Larchmont and a portion of the City of Rye.
