On October 7-9th Mamaroneck FBLA participated in the National Fall Leadership Conference. The annual conference was held in Washington DC and welcomed over 1,000 students from different states. 24 students from our school attended, and some of our new members got to experience FBLA on a national level. Meeting people from states most of us had never been to was an unforgettable experience. Networking in and outside of workshops is a highlight of every members experience. Meeting young leaders is always rewarding and eye opening moment. The workshops covered all business aspects such as “How to Dress for Success”, “Becoming a Future Global Business Leader, “You Can Become a Millionaire.” All of these were presented by business professionals, some of which had been FBLA members when they were younger. In addition to participating in workshops the students got to explore the historic treasures of the city. The Capitol, Vietnam Memorial, and Smithsonian Museum were few of the many monuments visited. Members came home with big smiles on their faces and a truly remarkable experience.
