MAMARONECK, NY — A petition for a dog park in Mamaroneck has gathered more than 290 signatures as of Wednesday. The location would be the village-owned Taylors Lane property, a once-contaminated piece of land. The village trustees would have to OK turning the land into a <a href="https://www.lohud.com/story/news/local/westchester/mamaroneck/2019/04/10/mamaroneck-residents-petition-official-dog-park/3414245002/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">dog park</a>, the Journal News said. Formerly a garbage dump, the almost 8-acre site was remediated in 2015.
