
MAMARONECK, NY — Voters in the Mamaroneck and Rye Neck school districts will be deciding budgets for the 2018-19 school year Tuesday, May 15. The Mamaroneck school district is seeking approval for a $138.9 million budget, which is up 2.84 percent over the current spending package.
The tax levy increase of 3.97 percent exceeds the allowed tax cap, so the budget will have to be approved by 60 percent of the voters in order to pass.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Rye Neck voters will have to decide whether or not to approve a $41.4 million budget, which is 3.13 percent more than the 2017-18 budget.

The tax levy increase is 3.11 percent, which is below the mandated tax cap.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
