Mamaroneck Schools To Form Growth Task Force

People can apply after an information meeting takes place.

MAMARONECK, NY — The Mamaroneck school board is looking for community members who want to join a task force the challenges of growth in the district. The goal for the task force is to consider the challenge of enrollment growth within the broader context of the district’s educational goals, space constraints and fiscal challenges.

According to a spokeswoman, the Task Force of Space, Growth and Achievement will assist the board in making an informed evaluation of these strategies, though any final decision rests with the board.

The task force will include a group of approximately 30 community members from a variety of backgrounds and neighborhoods to broadly represent all segments of the community.
