Mamaroneck Students Recognized For Science, Engineering Research
The Westchester Science and Engineering Fair was held Saturday.

MAMARONECK, NY — Thirty Mamaroneck High School students participated in the Westchester Science and Engineering Fair Saturday, March 16 at Sleepy Hollow High School. Organizers said more than 650 students competed.
The students from Mamaroneck are part of the high school's Original Science Research programs led by teachers Guido Garbarino and Alejandro Victoria.
According to a district spokeswoman, the following students were recognized for their multi-year research:

- Sydney Rosen (12th grade) - Second Place, Behavioral and Social Science
- Jesse Ward (11th grade) - Second Place, Environmental Science and Stockholm Junior Water Prize
- Ravi Bhalla (11th grade) - Third Place, Cellular and Molecular Biology
- Katherine LoBue (12th grade) - Third Place, Medicine and Health
- Oliver Rayner (11th grade) - Third Place, Engineering and Yale Science and Engineering Association Award
- Susanna Weber (12th grade) - Third Place, Physics and Astronomy
- Thomas Wiesenberg (12th grade) - Third Place, Cellular and Molecular Biology and Office of Naval Research Award
- Jackson Baker (11th Grade) - Fourth Place, Medicine and Health
- Abigail Bennitt (12th grade) - Fourth Place, Behavioral and Social Science
- Tomas Grossmark (12th Grade) - Fourth Place, Cellular and Molecular Biology
