Mamaroneck Town Approves Bid For Sidewalk and Curbing Repair
The Town of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees accepted a bid from Landi Contracting for work on Fenimore Road and Harrison Drive.

As part of a townwide road resurfacing project, the Town of Mamaroneck has accepted a $120,475 bid from Hawthorne-based Landi Contracting for the installation of curbing and sidewalk on Fenimore Road and Harrison Drive.
Landi—who has performed work for the town in the past—was chosen as the lowest out of five contractors bidding on the project. The project will include the installation of 3,300 linear feet of stone curbing, 100 feet of sidewalk and 850 feet of reset (a restoration of what's existing) stone curbing.

Town Supervisor Nancy Seligson cautioned that the costs of repair could limit the areas the town could focus on.
"We know that there are many people in the town who wish that we could repave their road or improve their sidewalk...as much as we would like to, the cold hard facts are that it's very, very expensive," she said.
