Mamaroneck Village Approves $260K Bid for Harbor Pavilion Roof
The Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees awarded a $260K bid for a new metal roof.

After several months of deliberation, the Village of Mamaroneck has awarded a $260K bid to the Brooklyn-based BPR Contracting for a new metal roof on the Harbor Island Pavilion.
Though an asphalt roof would have been cheaper—$188K—the board's decision to go with the more expensive metal roof hinged on longevity: the asphalt roof would last approximately 20 years, whereas the metal roof is projected to last for 50-60 years.
