UPDATE: Mamaroneck Village Taxes Due Friday
If mailing the tax payment, it must be postmarked with Friday's date.
Mamaroneck, NY — The first half of the year’s taxes are due Friday, July 1, in the Village of Mamaroneck.
Mayor Norman S. Rosenblum sent the following email:
Please note tomorrow (July 1st) is the final day to pay your 1st half or total amount due for the Village of Mamaroneck taxes to avoid being subject to late payment fees. New York State law does not accept any excuse for late payment and late fees are mandatory.
If you cannot pay at the Village offices an alternative is to have your payment postmarked at a U.S. Post Office only with Friday's date. It may be advisable to get a "proof of delivery" when at the post office.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that taxes were due Thursday. Taxes are due Friday, July 1. The information originally received from the Village of Mamaroneck was not correct.
