The new owners wanted a two story open floor plan with an exterior that would be in harmony with the natural environment that surrounds the home. The home needed to blend in with the site, not overwhelm its serene setting and would include the use of natural materials such as stone and timber.
“First and foremost we are pleased that we could execute the homeowners’ vision to create the light, air, space and flow that they requested, and use natural elements to give the home a timeless appeal. Secondly, we are delighted that our interpretation of this vision was recognized by the HBRA”, says Robert Keller, principal architect at Keller/Eaton Architects.
