Montefiore's Investment in Westchester

At Home on the Sound presents:
Tony Alfano, vice president and executive director of Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, will discuss the health system’s important investment in Westchester. Montefiore, with 2,747 beds in eight hospitals and an extended care facility, is a premier academic health system, nationally recognized both for its clinical excellence and its focus on the needs of the communities it serves. Mr. Alfano will not only underscore Montefiore’s significance for the area of New Rochelle’s 242-bed hospital, he will also include such relevant topics as Medicare, Medicaid, and Home Health Care.
Prior to joining Montefiore New Rochelle, Alfano served as senior vice president and chief operating officer at New York Downtown Hospital. Earlier, he served on the senior leadership teams of Brooklyn Hospital Center and Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center. Alfano holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Administration from Long Island University.
