MAMARONECK, NY —The LMC Media gala will feature nationally known faces and a few local heroes as the community-based digital media organization celebrates the successes and trials of the past year, while honoring one of its most stalwart champions.
LMC Media is throwing a star-studded party hosted by NBC News Senior National Correspondent and the anchor of Sunday NBC Nightly News, Kate Snow. The gala evening will take place virtually on October 21, at 7:30 p.m.
The event will honor philanthropist and activist Sunny Yeddis Goldberg, who also happens to be one of the founding members of LMC Media. Goldberg has worked as a fierce advocate for the community organization since its inception.

"We are thrilled to honor our dear friend and champion of community media, Sunny Goldberg," LMC Media Executive Director Matt Sullivan said. "Given the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida, we wanted to reexamine the way we would handle our virtual gala. We felt it was appropriate to acknowledge the community as a whole and highlight the fact that we come together in good times and bad. We are incredibly proud to be one of many organizations striving to make a difference in our community members’ lives."
In a way that only LMC Media could, the gala will take viewers on a fast-paced, multi-faceted tour of the places, events and neighbors that make the Larchmont and Mamaroneck communities such a uniquely diverse and dynamic place to live. The evening will celebrate the organization's stated mission of using digital media to build a more informed, connected and empowered community.
