New Mt. Sinai Pediatric Practice Comes to Mamaroneck

Mount Sinai’s Kravis Children’s Hospital has established a new pediatric subspecialty practice in Mamaroneck, New York, to offer convenient, comprehensive care services to families who live in Westchester County.

In June, Kravis Children’s Hospital was ranked as one of the country’s best children’s hospitals in six pediatric specialties by U.S. News & World Report.  The Mount Sinai Pediatric Subspecialty Practice will offer pediatric specialists in cardiology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and endocrinology, and becomes one of the few pediatric specialty practices in Westchester affiliated with a top 20 nationally-ranked academic medical center.

"We are excited to open the new practice to provide local families with access to expert subspecialists closer to home," said Dr. Lisa Satlin, MD, professor and chair of pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

The practice includes Ira Parness, MD, chief, Division of Pediatric Cardiology; Keith Breglio, MD, assistant professor, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology; Abigail Allen, MD, assistant professor, Division of Pediatric Orthopedics and Molly Regelmann who will also be joining the practice as a pediatric endocrinology specialist. 

Dr. Parness, a resident of New Rochelle, is an expert in pediatric and prenatal echocardiography; preoperative and postoperative care of simple and complex congenital heart defects and the evaluation and management of cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias. Dr. Breglio is an expert in all areas of pediatric gastroenterology, with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease.  Dr. Allen’s clinical interests include scoliosis, hip disorders and fracture care, among other pediatric conditions. Dr. Regelmann’s clinical and research interests include growth, thyroid, adrenal and pubertal disorders, as well as diabetes.

Dr. Satlin, who as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Mount Sinai, oversees the new subspecialty practice.  She is a Westchester native who graduated from White Plains High School and is an internationally-acclaimed pediatric nephrologist. 

The Mount Sinai Pediatric Subspecialty Practice is located at PM Pediatrics, 620 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, an established after-hours urgent care facility. PM Pediatrics’ Medical Director, Karin Sadow, MD, is the former chief of the Pediatric Emergency Department at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Drs.
