New Principal to Head Mamaroneck Avenue School

She will take over at the end of the current school year.

A new principal has been appointed for Mamaroneck Avenue School.

The Mamaroneck Union Free School District board of education approved Tuesday Virginia Lockwood to replace Carrie Amon, who is retiring at the end of the 2015-16 school year.

Superintendent Robert Shaps made the recommendation which the board OK’d, according to a prepared statement.
