New Rochelle Woman Receives $3000 P.E.O. Educational Grant

NEW ROCHELLE WOMAN RECEIVES $3000 P.E.O. EDUCATIONAL GRANT

P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) recently presented a $3000 grant to Moon Na, a resident of New Rochelle, to support her as she began a program at Columbia University in May. Na is now enrolled as a junior pursuing a BA degree in Computer Science.

The grant is from P.E.O.’s Program for Continuing Education (PCE), which provides need-based grants to women in the United States and Canada whose education was interrupted and who find it necessary to return to school to support themselves and families.

P.E.O. Chapter AJ Larchmont was pleased to sponsor Moon Na and was thrilled when she was chosen for this award, and received the maximum grant amount of $3000.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic woman’s organization celebrating the advancement of women and seeking to motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations by offering educational scholarships, grants, awards, and loans, and supporting Cottey College, an accredited women’s college in Nevada, MO.
