Opening at Gallery 1989 in Larchmont, 'Efflorescence' by Zhenya Doolan

Gallery 1989 is a student run pop-up gallery located at 1989 Palmer Ave in Larchmont, NY. Their mission is to provide a space for emerging, contemporary artists in various disciplines to segue in to the art market by having professional gallery exhibitions. Zhenya Doolan is a Russian artist currently living in Buffalo, NY. His exhibition “Efflorescence,” is a combination of watercolors and prints with colorful, floral aesthetics. Zhenya’s woodcut prints are created on handmade paper and then hand colored, making each an original creation. The opening reception is on Saturday, October 18th at 6pm and will have complimentary refreshments, live music and great artwork.
