Parking Fee to Increase For Senior Citizens in Town of Mamaroneck
The Town of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees voted to increase the annual cost of parking in Lot #3 for senior citizens by $50 last week.

Parking fees for senior citizens just got more expensive in the Town of Mamaroneck.
The Town Board voted to increase the annual rate for 24-hour parking in Lot #3—located at Myrtle Boulevard and North Chatsworth Avenue—from $475 to $525. The going rate for those 64 and under is $750 annually; area businesses pay $500.

Town Supervisor Nancy Seligson said this particular fee was targeted "because we recognize that it is far below the market rate."
The fee increase was approved unanimously by the board.
