Pet Rescue Announces Donation Matching Gift Initiative
The Westchester County group is working to raise $100,000 to finish renovations to a new facility in Harrison.

Pet Rescue, the Westchester County group dedicated to helping animals, announced this week that a longstanding donor has offered to match every gift dollar-for-dollar up to $8,000, as it seeks to raise $100,000 to complete the cat section of their facility in Harrison.
Under this gift matching effort, a donation of $25 becomes $50, a $50 gift becomes $100, which Pet Rescue says will go a long way in helping it raise the necessary funds. Pet Rescue has been putting money in a building fund for a while, so it already has a head start.
“But time is of the essence – Pet Rescue is asking for donations now to please help them finish their facility and have their cats and dogs under the same roof,” officials said in a statement. “To make a gift, please go to their website (www.ny-petrescue.org) or send a check to Pet Rescue, PO Box 393, Larchmont NY 10538 marked for the Building Fund.”
