In case you've missed in Larchmont, well, now might be the time to housed in a charming Tudor-style house a visit.
New York Times reviewer Alice Gabriel was as anamoured with Plates Restaurant's selection of ingredients as she was with its "downright pretty" surroundings and neighborhood charm. She even upgraded her 2004 rating from "Very Good" to "Worth It" based on what she calls Chef Matthew Karp's "adjusted expectations" from homey to haute.
