Red Flag Warning Till 7 PM: National Weather Service

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning until 7 p.m. for Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.

• Red Flag Warning in effect from May 4, 01:00 PM EDT until May 4, 07:00 PM EDT
• Hazardous Weather Outlook

Southwest winds with gusts up to 25 mph, a humidity level of 25-30 percent, and the existence of lots of dry fuel sources create a significantly elevated fire growth potential.
