Relax, Weekend Smoke In Larchmont Is Likely Just from A Drill
The excitement of smoke and the use of hoses, water, saws and ladders will all be part of planned fire training activities in the village.
LARCHMONT, NY — The Village of Larchmont Fire Department is letting neighbors know that where there's smoke, there isn't always fire, when it comes to training exercises.
The Village of Larchmont announced that there will be fire training activities taking place this weekend. While there won't be any live fires, there will be simulated smoke and the use of hoses, water, saws and ladders. Residents who wish to watch the training may do so from a safe distance.
The activities will be conducted at 10 Brook Place, from Friday, July 15 - Monday, July 18, between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
