Rye Neck High School Named 39th Best in New York

The Mamaroneck school was rated highly by U.S. News and World Report.

Rye Neck Senior High School in Mamaroneck is rated the 39th best in New York, according to the latest ranking from U.S. News and World Report.

The school’s top 40 rating earned a Gold award from the publication, which also noted that the AP participation rate is 70 percent at the school. Rye Neck’s national rank is 288th, and its STEM rank is 234th.

Total enrollment for the school is 413 and there is a 11:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Based on test scores, 100 percent of students are proficient in English and 90 percent are proficient in mathematics.
