Rye Neck Union Free School District Calendar 2021-22: First Day

MAMARONECK, NY — Before you know it, the 2021-22 school year will be starting.
The first day of classes for the Rye Neck Union Free school district is Wednesday, Sept. 1.

Whether or not you and your children are looking forward to the new school year, you will want to write down the dates in your calendar as soon as possible.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2021-22 school year:

• 11/25-26 Thanksgiving recess

• 12/24-31 Holiday recess

• 1/17 Martin Luther King Jr. Day

• 2/21-25 Mid-winter recess

If zero snow days are used, schools will be closed 4/18, 5/27 and 5/31. If one snow day is used, schools will be closed 4/18 and 5/27. If two snow days are used, schools will be closed 5/27. The order of make-up days when school is closed for an emergency will be 5/31, 4/18 and 5/27.
